it was a long time coming.
i stopped going to meetings june 09. the reason i left it so long is because my husband is still in and for this reason i see witnesses from time to time.

soooo many thought obama was the savior and now scores of people are abandoning him and his policies.
the pendulum swings and you hear how we need a republican to bail us out of our mess.. do you really believe a single person or party can make the changes for the country or the world ?
?.
I'm running for a public office in our small town. The county is quite divided between the two major parties. I'm here to say
that there is no way any political party will bring change. To quote a singing comic named Wally Pleasant, "change comes from within."
It is truly the views and opinions expressed, endorsed or rejected by others that will make any slight change in our system. Vote for the
person, not the party.

this is a story that is very hard for me to tell.
as a matter of fact, this is really one of the only times i've told this story.
a few years back, i met a girl while at the local community college.
MrFreeze - It's been five years now since my daughter was violently murdered in her dorm room. I can't tell you how many times I've blamed myself for one thing or another believing I could have prevented it. It's taken so long to come to know nothing I could have done would have saved her. I live to honnor her and press on in a positive action on her behalf.
It truly was someones free will to choose to do it. It wasn't Gods will, my will or even hers. A young man without respect for life did it.
The pain you feel and re-live daily is very real. Process your loss every day until it becomes easier to wake up, eat breakfast and live like you're suppose to.
Please for goodness sake, continue to open your mind, your eyes and your heart to a life without the JW bondage. The freedom without is amazing and renewing.
Take all the time you need to process every one of your life losses. Do it right.

does anyone here have friends that were never one of jehovah's witnesses that knows about your activity on these types of internet sites and the stuff you communicate here?.
I am one of those people. CHG has guided me through her hell and it is scary how much I understand what you've been through.
I love CHG so much I will do all I can to protect and support her in her new life. Understanding her past is valuable. It is what has
defined her. We are working together to create a new and better life for both of us.
We are very happy and in love with each other. Our past and all that it carries.
This site has been so very helpful for both of us.

well since i cant grow a beard, dont have the patience for dread-locks, and do not want anything permanent like a tatoo yet..... i enjoyed the experience, never been in a tatoo parlor, this looks understated, not painful & everyone hates my new nose "glitter" which i find kinda funny.
i don't see it being a permanent thing with me, but i always wanted one, and you never know if you don't try..... just one more step in the independent direction of making my own choices-.
btw i also registered to vote last week!.
Hey folks, I just got back from a 17 day trip to South Africa.
Okay, I got back Tuesday night and neither one of us saw the light of day until this morning.
I like the nose pierce. It is very understated and cute on CHG.

well we are getting a new pup and i'm not set on a name yet.
it is a sweet baby girl cairn terrier (like toto).
she is wheaten, which is a blonde color.. she will be coming home to big brother jinx (meaning magic charm or spell), who is a red brindle color.. i have thought of many names but can't decide.. i really like gypsy (goes well with jinx), but don't like it for such a blonde pup.
CHG and I are both gingers and so is her golden. My first choice is Ginger, then Lola.

from my previous thread on allowing beards/goatee's and the pact that you brought up.
i've started my goatee this past weekend!
came into work this morning and one guy i worked with looks at me and goes, "wtf is that?
CHG - The nose glitter would look good on you as yes, I will love you.
The bald head and oil on my naked body would look great in a dream or if we ran off to a remote desert island for an extended period of time. How bout a compromise and we both get all oiled up and play slip and slide until we run out of oil, and then go buy some more.
The anniversary is coming up soon so let me know what you want. I'll shave your knoggin if you want and guess what!! I'll still love you, support you, protect you and feel blessed to have you as my friend.
